At Yggdrasil Farm Hotel, we serve homemade, traditional Norwegian cuisine prepared exclusively with Norwegian ingredients. Everything on the table is produced here on the farm. We particularly recommend our oven-baked lamb from the farm. This is not standard white sheep, but Viking sheep — a heritage breed known for its rich, distinctive flavor. The lambs graze freely in the mountains throughout their lives, nourished by their mother’s milk and wild alpine vegetation.
The result is exceptionally tender meat, slow-baked together with premium Norwegian vegetables. For the best culinary experience, we recommend ordering this dish for two, as the larger preparation enhances both juiciness and depth of flavor.
