Lunch & Farm Experience

At Yggdrasiltunet Farm Hotel, we wish to offer you more than just a meal – we aim to provide a complete experience of calm, connection and authentic Northern Norwegian culture.

We serve homemade food based on high-quality Norwegian ingredients, inspired by traditional cuisine from Northern Norway. Our meals are prepared with time, care and respect for the ingredients – just as it was done in the past. Many of the ingredients come from our own farm, and everything is made from scratch. We offer a small, carefully curated selection of dishes that vary from day to day, always focusing on quality over quantity. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.

A visit to Yggdrasiltunet is as much about the atmosphere as it is about the food. You are welcome to take a quiet walk around the farm, breathe in the fresh air and experience the peaceful rhythm of farm life. Here you will meet our Old Norwegian short-tailed sheep (Villsau), known for their beautiful natural colours and unique appearance. Our sheep are very tame, curious and enjoy visitors, and many guests appreciate the opportunity to get close to them and experience their calm and friendly nature.

Please note that access to the farm and interaction with the animals is part of the experience we offer, and an additional fee applies.

Around the farm you will also find horses, goats, hens, a dog and a cat – all contributing to the warm and welcoming atmosphere that defines Yggdrasiltunet.

In our farm café, you can sit down with something to eat or drink, enjoy the surrounding views and let time slow down. Whether you stop by for a cup of coffee, a light lunch or simply to enjoy the moment, we aim to create an experience of calm, presence and good flavours.

If you have any allergies or dietary requirements, please contact us in advance. Dinner on the day of arrival must be pre-booked.
